Sarah-Mary Geissler is a Fashion Historian, and Lecturer at Newcastle College University Centre. She currently teaches FdA Fashion Marketing and
Communication and MA Creative and Professional Practice.
She has several years experience working in the fashion, academia and heritage sectors. Her prior research into costume, homemade clothing, and communities of dress reflect her background as a maker.
Sarah-Mary’s current work focuses on access to and developments within
Fashion education, and also digital interactions with fashion.
